Canister Checker

Conduct inspection of the fuel vapor emission control device in a short time.

There are inspection items related to the fuel evaporation gas emission suppression device in vehicle inspections, including "clogging or damage of the charcoal canister" and "function of the check valve of the fuel evaporation gas emission suppression device." However, due to reasons such as "ambiguous criteria for determining clogging," "inability to unify inspection procedures due to structural differences among vehicle types," and "difficulty accessing the canister body," inspection times are prolonged. In particular, the in-tank charcoal canister requires removal and reinstallation of the rear seat, significantly increasing the work time. The canister checker connects to the included fuel cap adapter and can handle both pressurization and negative pressure (suction) with air, thereby reducing work time and significantly alleviating the burden on workers during inspections.
